For the first time in TV Central history, Central News, daily news and highlights with our local weather bulletin went live on the web last night.

Central News is a daily news show, covering the Waikato and Bay of Plenty region, with news and interviews. Central News began in September 2009 and has flourished ever since.

Viewers no longer need to wait until the bulletin airs at 7.30pm or 10.30pm, but can access it easily by going to the website www.tvcentral.co.nz and following the link to news updates.

It is important to note this is not the full half hour show, but gives viewers insight as to what is coming up at 7.30pm, and advised of the regional issues.

The Central News full bullinten is available only on TV Central, Freeview | HD channel 30 and UHF analogue TV.
