June 15th 2007 saw the official launch of iTV Live.

Following on from 14 years of ‘Geyser Television’ we have now proudly re-positioned ourselves in the marketplace to provide a more up-to-date and informative service to meet the ever changing needs of our consumers.

So, who are iTV?

iTV Live has been part of Television Media Group (TVMG) since 2005. TVMG also operate, FamilyTV Rotorua, FamilyTV Waikato.BOP (community television), AlphaMedia Concepts (website design and hosting), and AlphaMedia Productions (promotional and corporate DVD). Being able to promote a ‘community at its best’ to the local, national and international arena is our focus.

Rotorua is one of the major tourist destinations in New Zealand, attracting an estimated 2.7 million visitors for the year ending December 2006 of which 1.4 million were overnight visitors.

Not only is iTV Live available in 95% of Rotorua’s accommodation providers, with a daily viewership of 45,542 it is also broadcast on FamilyTV Rotorua and FamilyTV Waikato.BOP daily, reaching an additional combined potential viewership of 110,000.

We continue to distribute up to 100,000 Rotorua & District visitor maps annually and now we open iTV Live to the world by streaming video live on the net.
